Outdoor adventure is one of the main reason why people visit Costa Rica. This mountainous country with miles of coastline is a adventure traveler’s Mecca, offering all kinds of outdoor activities: whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, canopy tours, surfing, swimming, snorkeling and fishing. You will be amazed travelling through this tropical wonderland of active volcanoes, hidden beaches and waterfalls, rainforests and cloud forest. Full of rare and exotic wildlife, you will have opportunity to spot wildlife from monkeys to macaws and sea turtles to toucans. A vacation here offers more than a lovely landscape and beautiful weather.
When you arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in San Jose.

Today after breakfast we will be visiting the Poas Volcano, which is one of the widest volcanic craters in the world and is one of the largest active volcano in the world.
After lunch we will visit the Doka Estate, the oldest humid coffee processing plant declared an Architectural Heritage for Humanity. You will have a tour of the estate and would also get some free tips and tricks that will make your next cup of coffee the best.

After an early breakfast we leave for the Carribbean coast. We will drive through Braulio Carrillo National Park, taking in the wonderful views of the rainforest. We arrive at Cano Blanco and get on a boat for a 1 ½ hour boat ride through the beautiful canals to get to Tortuguero. Watch out for wildlife.
When we arrive in Tortuguero we visit the Atlantic Green Sea Turtle Museum. There are a variety of species and habitats in the Park, which we will get to witness as we ride through the creeks of Tortuguero National Park.
Later we will visit the Tortuguero village where you will get to learn about the history of Tortuguero.

Today after breakfast, we travel by boat to explore the canals of Tortuguero and Harold’s Canal in Tortuguero National Park. On your quest today you get to see bare-throated tiger herons, snowy egrets, boat-billed herons, and several other species.

After breakfast we will leave via the stunning wildlife rich canals of Tortuguero to Cano Blanco from where we will get on our vehicle to drive down to Sarapiqui.
Upon arrival at Sarapiqui, we will check into our hotel and take some rest. The rest of the day, you can spend at your leisure.

In the morning after dinner, we will go for an exciting river rafting adventure. While you are enjoying your adrenaline rush be sure to keep an eye out for birds and wildlife.
After lunch we return back to our hotel where the rest of the day is at your disposal.

After breakfast we depart for Arenal. We will stop in San Carlos Valley for lunch, the town is at the base of Arenal volcano. After arriving at the hotel we will take some rest and then enjoy the Eco-Termales Hot Water Springs.

After breakfast today, you get to zip line at the Arenal canopy, which is near to Arenal Volcano. You will get to enjoy the unparalleled view of Arenal volcano.
After lunch, we will embark on a hike in the Arenal Hanging Bridges, a 250-hectare reserve of a fully recovered secondary rain forest.

After breakfast, we travel to Rincon de la Vieja. The continental divide has created a dry forest on one side of Rincon de la Vieja national park and lush rainforest on the other. The area also offers the opportunity to experience a local, untouched community of El Gavitan. You can have lunch at the local homes here.
After lunch, we will visit the botanical gardens and hot springs.

After having breakfast, we will visit the Blue River which is a naturally beautiful volcanic river. We will reach the River on horseback. When we reach Blue River we will begin our hike to a beautiful waterfall that is perfect for enjoying our picnic lunch. You can also take a dip in the beautiful river.
In the evening we return to our hotel.

After breakfast today, we will depart for Playa Panama, Guannacastle. Once we arrive at the Pacific coast, you can hit the beach after keeping your luggage in the hotel. You can take a swim in the warm waters or can just relax on the beach.

After breakfast we will take the flight back to San Jose, from where we will board our flight back home.
