Take the full circle road around Iceland to see its top attractions on this 7-day tour from Reykjavik. Check out the Golden Circle, view the south coast’s black sands and basalt cliffs; explore the eastern fjords, Akureyri, and Lake Myvatn; and enjoy adventures including a glacier walk at Skaftafell, hiking, and a whale watching cruise. Limited to a maximum of 15 people, the tour includes six nights’ accommodation, daily breakfast, air-conditioned transport, and more.

Post breakfast, leave to Thingvellir National Park, historically and geologically significant the park is best known for the iconic Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir Geothermal Area and as the place where the history of Iceland truly began.

Post breakfast, discover the beauty of Iceland’s south shore. With views of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano set out towards the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, and follow a hidden path through a canyon to the secluded falls of Gljúfrabúi, but not before stopping by at Hveragerði, a hot spring village to visit the Lava Center for an overview of Iceland’s volcanoes and earthquakes; and at the black sand beaches of Reynisfjara.
Continue on to Vik and check into your accommodation.

Start the morning with a visit to the Icelandic cultural heritage at the Skôgar Folk Museum and visit the picturesque Skogafoss waterfall.
Then set out on a tour of the celebrated Golden Circle. Visit the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, and then see Geysir, the hot spring for which all other geysers are named.

Post breakfast set out from Vik to Skaftafell. Arrive to check into your accommodation and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Post breakfast start the day with a visit to Crystal Beach, icebergs washed up on the black sands. and continue on to Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon for its iridescent ice formations.
Post lunch head over to Vatnajökull National Park to see the majestic Svartifoss waterfall, framed by basaltic lava columns.

Continue on to Skaftafell National Park with time to explore before continuing on in the evening to the small town of Höfn.
Stop by at the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, with chances of sighting seals sunbathing on the bright blue ice.
End the day at a black and crystal beach usually filled with clear icebergs. Spend the evening and overnight in the town of Hofn.

Start with a scenic drive along the coastline of the eastern fjords to Egilsstadir. Here, enjoy a short hike to the 419-feet (128-meter) Hengifoss waterfall, which gushes into a beautiful gorge.
Afterward, check in at a cozy country hotel for the night.

Stop at the stunning Dettifoss waterfall and then head to the Lake Myvatn area.
Explore the volcanic Namaskard geothermal area to see its mud pools and visit Myvatn Nature Baths, where you have the opportunity to bathe in the hot spring pools or stroll around the area.
Call at Hverfjall and Dimmuborgir to explore on foot, and drive toward Akureyri with a stop on route at Godafoss waterfall.

Explore the town of Akureyri and then take a 3-hour whale watching cruise in Eyjafjordur, looking for humpback whales and white-beaked dolphins, and trying some optional sea angling. Then, travel along the Trollaskagi peninsula and visit the quaint village of Siglufjorður before continuing to West Iceland for the night.
Today, we will stop at Deildartunguhver and the Barnafoss waterfall and pause to see Hraunfossar, where the falls flow from beneath the lava field. Your final stop is at the historic site of Reykholt before we return to Reykjavik, where our tour concludes.
