Post breakfast, start early around 8 am to visit Ultndanu Beratan temple, one of the most photographed places in Bali.
Set within the highlands of the mountainous Bedugul Regency in Bali, atop a plateau that sits on Lake Beratan, stands the majestic Ulun Danu Temple. In the mild, mountain weather, approximately 1,500 meters above sea level, the air is crisp and cool.
The stunningly clear lake is calm and almost perfectly still, save for the soft breeze that occasionally sweeps across, creating tiny ripples upon its surface. A thin mist rises from the lake and hangs in the air, surrounding the temple, giving it a somewhat surreal appearance.
On the way back visit Tanah Lot temple. Tanah Lot means ” Land in the sea” in the Balinese language.
Located in Tabanan, about 20 kilometers (12 mi) North West of Denpasar, the temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide. Tanah Lot is claimed to be the work of the 16th-century Dang Hyang Nirartha. During his travels along the south coast he saw the rock-island’s beautiful setting and decided to rest there. Some fishermen saw him, and bought him gifts. Nirartha then spent the night on the little island. Later he spoke to the fishermen and told them to build a shrine on the rock, for he felt it to be a holy place to worship the Balinese sea gods. The main deity of the temple is Dewa Baruna or Bhatara Segara, who is the sea god or sea power and these days, Nirartha is also worshipped here.
Have lunch there and, then you will be dropped back to the hotel. In the evening enjoy Balinese massage therapy for 60 min.
Meals Included- Breakfast, Lunch
Post breakfast, start early to visit Nusa Penida.
Nusa Penida is the largest offshore island in Bali, just southeast of the main island. Speedboats depart daily from Bali’s mainland, and can reach Nusa Dua in roughly 40 minutes from Sanur. Nusa Penida has a well-developed local population, but not much
tourist infrastructure so most visitors come for a weekend getaway or a one-day tour. The island is also home to a bird sanctuary, uncrowded white sand beaches, sacred temples, and some of Bali’s best dive sites. Spend full day at Nusa Penida.
Late evening return back to hotel in Bali.
