Club Mahindra provides a set of 3 neat houseboats on Dal Lake – almost the last set of house boats, just a stone’s throw from Kabootar Khana and the golf course. That provides you with one of the best views of Dal Lake and Zabarwan mountains that you can ask for on the Lake. Its access from Ghat No 17 means that it is perfectly safe and secure even if there is curfew and tension everywhere in Srinagar.
The houseboat is very comfortable. 4 rooms per houseboat, comfortable beds, neat bathrooms, clean toilets, great living area and comfortable dining. There is also an exquisite sit out at the front of each houseboat which becomes your favorite spot of the boat quite easily. The food provided at any meal is delicious and fresh. There is timely laundry and complimentary pick up and drop from the shores of Dal Lake to the boat two times a day. They also have great connections with drivers who can pick and drop you safely to the airport even in uncertain times.
