Kerala is known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers.
‘God’s own country’ has destinations to attract all kinds of visitors stopping by for tranquility and enjoyment.
On your arrival at Cochin International Airport, a representative from our side will pick you up for the drive to Munnar, the green Paradise of Kerala with unending expanses of Tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. On the way, we’ll visit the mesmerizing Cheeyappara as well as Valara waterfalls.
Upon arrival, check into your accommodation. The rest of the afternoon is to be spent at leisure, or alternatively, you could step out to explore the beautiful town.
After breakfast, we’ll go on a safari around the Eravikulam National park; where the endangered mountain ‘Nilgiri Tahr’ is conserved. Eravikulam also provides a breathtaking view of the Munnar hills.
In the afternoon, head out to the Mattupetty Dam, a beautiful spot for viewing the picturesque Munnar; and Kundala Lake – a natural lake with recreational facilities and having excellent views of the Western Ghats as well as the forest it is surrounded with.
Call off the day at the Echo point, offering the best possible view of the sunset in Kerala.
Head back to your accommodation for the night.
