Start you’re a bit unsually with a tour of the La Recoleta Cemetery (Cementerio de la Recoleta) It contains the graves of notable people, including Eva Perón, presidents of Argentina, Nobel Prize winners, and a granddaughter of Napoleon. In 2011, the BBC hailed it as one of the world’s best cemeteries, and in 2013, CNN listed it among the 10 most beautiful cemeteries in the world!
Then continue your guided tour to the Casa Rosada (Pink House) – executive mansion and office of the President of Argentina. The palatial mansion is known officially as Casa de Gobierno, (“House of Government”) also hosts the National Museum of Argentina.
In the evening visit the El Ateneo Grand Splendid a theater turned book shop -voted by the Guardian as the most beautiful Book Store. Other major attractions include- Metropolitan Cathedral and end your day at the famous clubs of the city enjoying the lively night crowd with a cocktail in hand while tapping your heels to tango music.

Arrive early morning in Iguaçu Falls Park. Catartas Del Iguaçu forms the Natural boundary of Brazil and Argentina Border. It was officially ‘discovered’ in 1541, by the European explorer, the Spanish Conquistador Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca. Enjoy the Jet board Safari on the mighty Iguaçu River and see the majestic waterfalls up front. You have an option to hike around the Park Rainforests via foot or by cycles.
These falls can be accessed by flight from Foz do Iguaçu Airport. Spend the night here, being a major tourist attraction there are plenty of Hotels and Lodges to select from.

Mendoza located in Cuyo region- the heart of Argentina’s wine country, is celebrated for Malbecs and other red wines. Its many bodegas (wineries) offer tastings and tours. Lose yourself in the wide, leafy streets lined with modern and art deco buildings, and smaller plazas surrounding Plaza Independencia. The later is also a site of subterranean Museo Municipal de Arte Moderno, displaying modern and contemporary art.

Prominent in the Argentinean Wine Route- the Valle de Uco or Uco valley is situated just south west of Mendoza. Once here grab a bicycle to traverse through the lush green wineries that are feast for your eyes. The region is famous for its Semillon and Malbec. Taste the Empanadas (fried or baked dough with stuff meat) or have dulce de leeche (sweetened milk) as dessert.

Santiago is not only the heart of the country’s colonial culture and history but also the home of the famous poet Pablo Neruda. The Chile’s capital city, sits in a valley surrounded by the snow-capped Andes and the Chilean Coast Range. Plaza de Armas, is home to 2 neoclassical landmarks: the 1808 Palacio de la Real Audiencia, housing the National History Museum, and the 18th-century Metropolitan Cathedral. Appreciate the interplay of the diverse cultures in Art, Architecture and Platter of Santiago imbedded with deep history of Colonialism.
Once here try some of the traditional Chiliean Dishes like the unique Arrollado huaso (Pork roll peasant style), or some unusual preparations like Caldillo de congrio (Conger eel soup) and Ensalada de digüeñes (Cyttaria fungus salad).

Casablanca Valley (1 hour away from Santiago), situated on the coastal plain between Santiago and Valparaiso, is Chile’s most famous wine region. Despite sporting a young viticulture history of wine production in 1980s it is still credited for premium wines like stunning reds such as Pinot Noir, Merlot and Syrah. With options several of boutique wineries and breweries- embark on a door to door wine tasting quest in this region.

Post breakfast; catch a flight to Easter Island from Santiago. Enjoy a free day after the tedious 6 hours flight. Rest well so that you can embrace a day full of lava fields, white beaches and sea cliffs on this remote island.

Easter Island is a remote volcanic island in Polynesia more commonly known as Rapa Nui among the Natives. It’s famed for archaeological sites, including nearly 900 monumental statues called moai, created by inhabitants during the 13th–16th centuries. The moai are carved human figures with oversize heads, often resting on massive stone pedestals called ahus. Ahu Tongariki has the largest group of upright moai.
The statues of Ahu Tongariki are just some of the 400 or so scattered around the Rano Raraku crater, where the stone to build them was unearthed. Explore this ancient heritage today and bask in the Polynesian sun with frothy seascape in front of you. Spend the evening enjoying a traditional Chilean dinner in the Island.
