The Sacred Music Festival was first introduced by Sufi Scholar and philanthropist, Faouzi Skali, in 1994. This 10 day fest is held during midsummer in the exotic city of Fes, Morocco, to showcase the various spiritual and sacred music traditions of the world in a platter.
The festival encourages artists with different faith like Christianity, Islam, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, etc from around the globe to gather and share their music by collaborating and executing great performances together each year.
Cherif Khaznadar, one of the most influential men in the world of music is the current Artistic Director of this colorful music festival.
