Recognized as a world heritage site, Hampi takes you back in time, to the prosperous days of the Vijayanagar Empire and further back to the days of the Ramayana and the Puranas.
A great way to introduce kids to the history and mythology based around the southern states, a tour of Hampi will leave you awe-inspired by the ruins of what used to be one of the largest and richest cities of the medieval world.

With an early start from Bangalore set out to Hospet, and drive to Hampi. Upon arrival check into a hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Return to the hotel for the night.

After an early breakfast set out to explore Hospet and the UNESCO heritage site of Hampi – the remnants of the Vijayanagar Empire.
Set on the banks of the river Tungabhadra, Hampi is a part of the once-thriving kingdom of Vijayanagara, now it is a World Heritage Site, the ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire sprawl over an area of more than 26 Sq.km.
Explore ruins of temples and palaces, over 500 monuments dot the skyline, take your time to walk through history.
Monuments of note include the Vittala Temple complex, the Virupaksha Temple, the Hemakuta Hill Temple complex, Kadalekalu Ganesha and the Queen’s bath.
Get to experience a glorious sunset amidst these gorgeous ruins.
Head back to the hotel for the night.
